Welltec® has officially opened the Stavanger Technology Center, a purpose-built hub designed to accelerate the development and delivery of advanced energy solutions.
Located in Norway’s energy capital, the 2,000-square-meter facility brings together Welltec and a growing ecosystem of technology partners under one roof to enable faster development cycles, smarter collaboration, and enhanced responsiveness.Grand Opening
Officially open, the Stavanger Technology Center welcomes guests enjoy the occasion with live tool demonstrations, entertainment, and guided tours of the facility.
Key features include more than 1,200 square meters of high-spec workshop space, a pressure cell for tool qualification in challenging downhole environments, and a dedicated epoxy lab.
While Welltec’s Bergen site continues to handle redress and maintenance, Stavanger now serves as the central hub for development, engineering collaboration, and deployment across Scandinavia and beyond.
This center is not just a regional hub—it’s a strategic investment in Norway’s world-class engineering talent and a testament to our commitment to local presence and long-term innovation.

Technology demonstrations
Attendees at the Grand Opening were given live demonstrations of several industry-leading technologies from the multiple teams now continuing their work from the Stavanger Technology Center.
The new facility is home to specialized teams delivering Welltec, Wellgrab, Isealate, Innowell (DAR), PipeSnake, and Axter solutions.
The new technology center is the culmination of a long-term strategy to grow Welltec’s already impressive portfolio through targeted partnerships, and the integration of complementary technologies.
